The Pop Star Plays a Hell Version of Herself in Fictional Documentary Preview

Charli XCX is gearing up for a significant cinematic presence in 2026, kicking off with the satirical film titled The Moment.

Within the project, the artist plays what she describes as a dark version of her own persona.

It’s the realest depiction of the music business that I’ve ever encountered, the performer stated.

She further explained in a discussion: This isn’t a concert film, but the idea originated from the demand to make one.

A Glimpse into The Project

The debut trailer, launched on this week, combines actual recordings from her live performances with imagined backstage scenes.

The Moment is directed and co-written by her collaborator, who shared that the plot centers on a world where Charli opted for alternate decisions in the marketing of her smash hit album Brat.
